Take s2 north for 13.1 miles to a dirt road on the right. On this short hike, you’ll be able to experience a sandstone slot canyon, complete with narrow walls and ladders. We here at hidden san diego follow the 'leave no trace' mantra, meaning whatever you bring with you comes back with you.

The park has no fees to enter, thousands of miles to explore and off road on and has unique areas such as the palm tree oasis of hellhole canyon, abandoned mines and the slot canyon itself.

The canyon portion of the hike squeezes through an extremely narrow passage between sandstone walls that is only wide enough for one person to pass at a time. The trail leads up through the slot canyon to a cave (short side trip) and eventually reaches an overlook.
